Grant Applications

      The Max van Berchem Foundation, whose goal is to promote the study of Islamic and Arabic archaeology, history, geography, art history, epigraphy, religion and literature, awards grants for research carried out in these areas by scholars who have already received their doctorate.

      Candidates must write out their application along the lines defined in the form and send it with the requested attachments:

      These documents must be received by the Foundation no later than March 31. The Scientific Committee will meet in Geneva at the end of June and the Foundation's Board will make its final decision (without appeal) in July.
